Orleans Seafood Market has been a customer of NRM’s for over seven years. At the time of their first project, they implemented NRM’s signature smart refrigeration controls, setback schedules for their drinks coolers, and upgraded several evaporator fan motors. These measures totaled 9,800 kWh, and $1,900 in real dollars, in savings—which are achieved every year (versus doing nothing and letting the system run as-is).
In addition, the measures qualified for a healthy incentive from their utility provider of over 70% of the project cost.
Recently, they upgraded to the newest model of NRM’s controls, which provides even better managing capabilities, and allowed them to add electric defrost into their controls portfolio. They also upgraded a couple more fan motors.
The new improvements increased their annual savings to just under 14,000 kWh, and $2,400 in real dollars!
